ROMA Conference 2026

The AED Foundation of Ontario was proud to attend ROMA 2026 in Toronto, held January 18 to 20, 2026.

One of the most valuable parts of the conference was the meaningful conversations we had with municipal leaders from across Ontario. We listened to what communities are prioritizing right now and discussed practical ways to strengthen local cardiac emergency preparedness, including AED awareness, readiness, and access to lifesaving resources.

We also shared how the provincial AED registry can support communities by helping improve visibility of AED locations and how the registry will support faster responses when emergencies happen.

We are grateful for the opportunity to connect directly with municipal leaders and we are leaving ROMA energized to keep building partnerships that help Ontario communities be better prepared when every second counts.
