OAPC Spring Education Symposium 2026

The AED Foundation of Ontario was pleased to attend the 2026 Ontario Association of Paramedic Chiefs Spring Education Symposium.

The event brought together leaders in paramedic services, public safety, emergency response, and municipal operations from across Ontario, creating an important opportunity to connect with partners who play a vital role in strengthening community preparedness.

Throughout the symposium, AEDFO had the opportunity to speak with attendees about automated external defibrillators, AED readiness, and the role of the provincial AED registry in supporting faster, more coordinated responses during cardiac emergencies.

As Ontario’s official AED Registrar, AEDFO is committed to increasing awareness of the registry and helping ensure publicly accessible AEDs can be located when every second matters. These conversations are especially meaningful with paramedic leaders, whose work is directly connected to emergency response systems and the chain of survival.

Our team was grateful for the opportunity to share resources, answer questions, and build connections with public safety leaders from across the province. Events like the OAPC Spring Education Symposium help strengthen the partnerships needed to improve AED awareness, accessibility, and readiness throughout Ontario.
