AED Foundation Ontario Connects with Municipal Leaders at 2026 WOMC Conference

AED Foundation Ontario (AEDFO) was pleased to attend the 2026 Western Ontario Municipal Conference, hosted by the Western Ontario Wardens’ Caucus (WOWC) in Guelph, Ontario.

The event provided an opportunity to connect with municipal leaders to discuss the development of Ontario’s official AED Registry and the importance of AED awareness, registration, and accessibility across the province.

When sudden cardiac arrest strikes, every second counts. The Ontario AED Registry will help 911 dispatchers identify registered AEDs and direct bystanders to nearby devices during cardiac emergencies.

Municipalities play an important role in strengthening community preparedness by helping ensure AEDs are registered, maintained, and accessible when needed.
